New Delhi, July 4 -- After a gap of 18 years, India's premier Kerala-based progressive rockers Motherjane are back with their third album 'Dobareh'.

For the uninitiated, Motherjane play a style of rock unique to them, incorporating classical Carnatic melodies with hard edged riffs, and song structures in the style of '70s old school prog bands like Pink Floyd, Yes, Gentle Giant, Camel, Rush etc, but with a very accessible touch.

As such, 'Dobareh' delivers exactly in the vein of what was heard in 'Insane Biography' and Maktub'. It's not a reinvention so much as it is a refinement of their classic style, done very well.
