Baghpat, Sept. 10 -- A woman allegedly killed her three children before taking her own life in the Bhojpuri Patti locality of Tikri village late Tuesday night.
According to police reports, 29-year-old Tej Kumari strangled her three children, Gunjan (7), Keto (2), and Meera (5 months), using a dupatta. She then died by suicide, hanging herself in the same room.
At the time of the incident, her husband, Vikas, who works as a tourist bus driver, was sleeping outside the house.
The horrific discovery was made when Vikas woke up during the night and went inside the house, only to find the bodies of his children and his wife hanging from the ceiling. He immediately alerted family members and contacted the police.
