Agartala, March 23 -- Motinagar in Tripura's Sephaijala district is grieving the unexpected loss of a cherished mother and Anganwadi worker, Anita Ghosh, who tragically passed away in a road accident on Monday.
Police said that Anita was riding her son's motorcycle to the Anganwadi centre around 8 am, as she did every day.
In the Fultali Bazar area, she suddenly fell from the bike and suffered severe injuries. She was immediately taken to the Asthma Hospital for urgent care.
As her condition deteriorated, she was transferred to GB Hospital. Despite all medical efforts, the doctors pronounced her dead, leaving her family heartbroken.
