Pune, Jan. 27 -- Police have arrested a woman for allegedly killing her 11-year-old son following a domestic dispute in Wagholi area of Pune district.
According to police, the accused Soni Santosh Jaybhai allegedly attacked her children with a knife after a quarrel with her husband Santosh Jaybhai on Monday morning. Her son, Sairaj Santosh Jaybhai (11), died in the attack, while her daughter Dhanashri Jaybhai sustained injuries and is undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital.
A police officer said on Tuesday that the dispute between the couple escalated, after which the woman allegedly attacked both the children. Neighbours rushed them to a nearby hospital immediately after learning about the incident.
