Nagpur, July 23 -- : A mother and her son were found dead inside their residence in Nagpur's Mahal area, with police suspecting that the duo died by suicide after allegedly consuming poison, police said on Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Abhaya Anant Khankhoje (52) and her son Advait Anant Khankhoje (33), who lived in Shri Guru Mauli Apartment under the jurisdiction of Kotwali Police Station.
According to police, the incident came to light on Wednesday night after a neighbour informed authorities that the flat had remained locked since morning and there had been no response despite repeated attempts to contact the occupants.
