Hyderabad, Feb. 8 -- Director of the Telangana Forensic Science Laboratory (TGFSL), Shikha Goel, IPS, on Sunday said that most case properties stored at the Forensic Science Laboratory in Nampally here were safe and had been retrieved following the fire incident reported on Saturday.
Addressing a press conference, she said the fire broke out at around 10.08 am in the Computer Forensic Laboratory located on the first floor of the FSL building. The incident was first noticed by Sai Krishna, an employee, who saw smoke emanating from the facility. He alerted other staff and informed the Inspector of Police posted at TGFSL, besides using the fire extinguisher available in the room to control the flames.
