Dimapur, July 7 -- union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai has called for optimum and systematic utilisation of available resources in Nagaland to promote sustainable agricultural growth and improve livelihoods.
Chairing a review meeting with heads of departments and district-level officers at Mokokchung DC's conference hall on Monday, Rai observed that Nagaland is endowed with favourable natural resources and climatic conditions for organic farming, an official statement said today.
He stressed the importance of effective implementation of centrally sponsored schemes to achieve the goals and objectives envisioned by the Centre.
