Agartala, July 10 -- The Minister of State for Home Affairs, Nityanand Rai on Friday concluded his two-day visit to Tripura to review security along the India-Bangladesh border, with a special focus on vulnerable border stretches in North Tripura.
During the visit, Rai inspected the BSF's Khanthalang Border Outpost (BOP) under the 124 Battalion in Jampui of Kanchanpur, along the Tripura-Mizoram border, and held discussions with senior BSF officials on border management.
Also addressed a conference of BSF personnel to assess operational preparedness and later visited the 70 Battalion BSF BOP in Khowai for a similar review.
