New Delhi, March 7 -- CEO of Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) Amandeep Johl plans to have higher proportion of foreign talent on Indian tours so as to raise the standards of these events. Speaking to UNI, he explained how higher proportion of quality foreign talent can make raise the quality and ratings of the tours and also prod the government to support them.
"We at PGTI are aiming to have as many foreigners in our tournaments as possible. We wish to have at least 50 per cent foreign player participation.
