Harare, Jan. 20 -- Pakistan's hopes of progressing at the ICC Under-19's Men's Cricket World Cup are alive and well after a six-wicket victory against Scotland.

Tournament urgency arrived quickly for Pakistan following their 36-run loss to England in their World Cup opener, but the bounce back win now sees them rise to second in Group C after two rounds of games, according to Interfnational Cricket Council (ICC).

Usman Khan was the hero Pakistan needed, smashing 75 off 85 with his side chasing 188 for the win. Khan was well supported by Ahmed Hussain, who made a hard fought 47 from 92 deliveries, with the pair displaying the kind of care and precision the moment called for.
