Panchkula, Oct. 2 -- Conditions are likely to become favourable for further withdrawal of the southwest monsoon from the remaining parts of Haryana and Punjab during the next 24 hours, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Friday.
The line of withdrawal currently passes through 32.5 degrees north/72.5 degrees east, Gurdaspur, Chandigarh, Muzaffarnagar, Aligarh, Dholpur, Udaipur, Deesa, Naliya and 23 degrees north/67.8 degrees east, according to the IMD's morning bulletin issued at 7:46 a.m.
