Panchkula, July 14 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast an active southwest monsoon spell over Northwest India, with intermittent rainfall expected to continue over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi till July 19. The weather department has also warned of thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds in several parts of the region, while heavy rainfall is likely over the Himalayan states during the second half of the week.
According to the All India Weather Summary and Forecast Bulletin issued by the National Weather Forecasting Centre on Tuesday morning, isolated to scattered rainfall is likely over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Punjab from July 14 to July 19.
