Panchkula, June 25 -- Parts of Haryana continued to experience relief from intense summer heat while eastern Uttar Pradesh remained under heatwave conditions, according to the latest weather bulletin issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
During the past 24 hours, rain and thunderstorm activity were reported at isolated places across northwest India, while Uttarakhand witnessed rainfall at a few locations. Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir also received isolated precipitation. Heatwave conditions persisted at a few places in East Uttar Pradesh, where Banda recorded the highest maximum temperature of 43.8 degrees Celsius in the plains of northwest India.
