Monsoon late by 4-6 days in UP : IMD

Lucknow, June 7 -- Monsoon may arrive late by 4 to 6 days in Uttar Pradesh.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the monsoon may arrive in UP in four to six days and is expected to enter the state by June 24.

However, within 10 days of its arrival, the monsoon will cover the entire state. The monsoon, in normal conditions, reaches UP between June 18 and 20.

Meanwhile, a series of storms and rain continue to batter UP on Sunday.
