Thiruvananthapuram, June 6 -- Kerala is set to witness intense monsoon activity over the next two days, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting isolated extremely heavy rainfall across the state on June 6 and 7 as the southwest monsoon strengthens further.
According to the latest weather bulletin, isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall ranging between 7 cm and 20 cm is very likely across Kerala during the next seven days. The state has already recorded very heavy rainfall of 12 cm to 20 cm at isolated locations, highlighting the growing intensity of the monsoon.
