Lucknow, July 19 -- Monsoon was in full swing in Uttar Pradesh for the past 24 hours, with almost all the 75 districts receiving good rainfalls.
Due to the rains, the maximum temperature has come down by 4 to 6 degrees, giving respite to the people.
However, on the other hand, rains have created problems for the people due to waterlogging and snapping of electricity in different parts of the state.
On Saturday, several districts in Uttar Pradesh, including Purvanchal, received good rainfall. Gorakhpur recorded the highest rainfall of 141.6 mm.
