Nagpur, Nov. 3 -- The Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee has appointed former MLA and senior state vice-president Mohan Joshi as the in-charge of all upcoming municipal elections across the state.
State Congress president Harshvardhan Sapkale issued a letter assigning Joshi the responsibility of coordinating and strengthening the party's organisational structure in all municipal corporation areas.
Joshi has been instructed to gather detailed organisational information by liaising with district presidents and to recommend measures for strengthening the party's performance in urban local bodies.
