Kolkata, April 5 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will kick off the Bharatiya Janata Party's campaign for the 2026 West Bengal Assembly elections with a major rally in North Bengal on Sunday.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to address a "Vijay Sankalp Sabha" at the historic Ras Mela Ground in Cooch Behar, marking the party's formal entry into the state's election campaign following the announcement of polls.

The rally comes days after Amit Shah presented the BJP's "Janatar Charge Sheet" where the union home minister highlighted the corruption and nepotism of the ruling Trinamool Congress in the state.
