Kolkata, April 19 -- Speaking at tribal-dominated Purulia, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday alleged that the ruling All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) is indulging in appeasement politics to please a particular community.

He claimed that this approach has led to neglect of tribal regions and imbalance in governance.

"Many schools are running without teachers. The Santhali language is being insulted, while hefty allocations are made to madrasas. This is outright appeasement, and the BJP will not allow this to continue," Modi said.

The Prime Minister further accused the TMC government of fostering a climate of fear that is detrimental to investment and development.
