Varanasi, Sept. 17 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday said the motorcycle journey connecting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthplace Vadnagar with Kashi, his place of work, was more than a journey between two places and symbolised a connection between two significant chapters of his life.
"The Prime Minister's journey is a journey of twenty-five years of history," Singh said.
Addressing an event here, he said Kashi is the place where Modi's public life received new energy and the blessings of the Ganga, while Vadnagar was where he received the blessings of his mother Hiraben and imbibed the values that shaped his life.
