Bengaluru, March 22 -- BJP state president and MLA Vijayendra Yediyurappa on Sunday hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's continuous 8,931-day tenure, calling it a major milestone.
Speaking to media representatives, he said Modi's governance is being widely praised across the country, and noted that the Prime Minister's popularity has never declined, even after he assumed office for the third consecutive term since 2014.
Commenting on the upcoming bypolls, Vijendra said former MLA Veeranna Charantimath has been fielded for Bagalkot, while Srinivas Das Kariyappa is the BJP candidate for Davangere South.
