Puducherry, April 3 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday evening participated in a road show in support of the NDA candidates for the April 9 Assembly elections here.

The hour long road show by Mr Modi began from Ajantha signal and culminated in Anna Square, after covering a distance of nearly 2 kms.

Flanked by AINRC Founder-President and Chief Minister N Rangasamy, who is contesting from his stronghold of Thattanchavady seat, Home Minister A Namasivayam and state BJP president V P Ramalingam, Mr Modi travelled in an open jeep waved to the people who had assembled on both the sides in large numbers all along the route and greeted the Prime Minister enthusiastically.
