Hyderabad, Aug. 12 -- Telangana CPI State Assistant Secretary E T Narasimha on Tuesday alleged that the BJP-led Central government was pursuing "anti-people" policies and said its time was up.

Addressing a padayatra organised by the CPI Secunderabad Constituency Committee from Chilakalaguda to Warasiguda, Narasimha accused the Centre of privatising public sector institutions and failing to create employment opportunities for youth.

He criticised the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, alleging that votes opposed to the BJP were being removed, and opposed the centralisation of examinations such as NEET, citing the possibility of irregularities and paper leaks.
