New Delhi, Feb. 11 -- To clear long-standing uncertainty regarding the post-retirement benefits available to officers of the Military Nursing Service (MNS), the government has issued the Ex-servicemen (Re-employment in Central Civil Services and Posts) Amendment Rules, 2026, the Ministry of Defence said.
The move is aimed at aligning the re-employment entitlements of MNS officers with those granted to other categories of armed forces veterans. According to the Ministry of Defence the Government has notified the Ex-servicemen (Re-employment in Central Civil Services & Posts) Amendment Rules 2026, under Article 309 of the Constitution.
