Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 1 -- Former KPCC president MM Hassan has ridiculed Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for demanding the resignation of Congress MLA Rahul Mankootathil, questioning the moral authority of a government that has allegedly shielded its own leaders facing charges of sexual misconduct.
Speaking after visiting the residence of senior Congress leader and CWC member AK Antony as part of the KPCC's house visit and fund collection drive at Vazhuthacaud, Hassan alleged that the Chief Minister and the police were acting as though "asking if there are ants in sugar" while attempting to trace complainants.
