Nanded, Sept. 10 -- MLA fron Mukhed Assembly Constituency, Tushar Rathod, has submitted a representation to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis regarding the granting of Scheduled Tribe reservation status to the Banjara (Laman) community in Marathwada as per the Hyderabad State Gazetteer of 1920.
The Bharatiya Janata Party legislator met the Chief Minister at Sahyadri Guest House in Mumbai today and requested decisions in the interest of the Banjara community.
