Aizawl, Sept. 4 -- Mizoram has been ranked the best-performing state in the country for implementing the National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction (NAPDDR), accordingto the state Social Welfare, Women & Child Development Department.
The recognition was announced at a meeting chaired by the Secretary of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, on September 3, where Mizoram was placedfirst among all states for its efforts to combat drug abuse and reduce drug demand.
