Aizawl, Sept. 18 -- Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma on Friday launched third phase of the state government's flagship Bana Kaih (Handholding) scheme, which provides financial support, subsidised loans and project assistance to farmers, entrepreneurs and other beneficiaries.
Launching Handholding 3.0 in Aizawl, Lalduhoma said the scheme was helping fulfil government commitments on agricultural procurement, interest-free loans through 100% interest subvention and government-backed bank guarantees.
The scheme has expanded beyond its main components of agricultural procurement, loans and the Chief Minister's Special Package to include infrastructure and livelihood projects such as turmeric and ginger processing units, contract farming, solar...
