Aizawl, July 23 -- Education Minister Vanlalthlana on Thursday showcased Mizoram's recent education reforms and outlined key challenges before a two-day conclave of State and union Territory Education Ministers organised by the Department of School Education and Literacy (DoSEL) under the union Ministry of Education in New Delhi.
Addressing the conclave, the minister highlighted several initiatives undertaken by the state in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, including the introduction of bilingual Mizo-English Science and Mathematics textbooks for secondary and higher secondary students.
He also informed the gathering that schools in Mizoram now observe one Home Language Day and one Hindi Speaking Day every week.
