Aizawl, May 30 -- Delayed release of scholarship funds, rising education expenses and difficulties in the online application process emerged as major concerns during an interaction between beneficiaries of the Post Matric Scheduled Tribe Scholarship Scheme and Mizoram Governor Vijay Kumar Singh at Raj Bhavan.
The interaction, held at the Durbar Hall of Lok Bhavan under the Janjatiya Garima Utsav 2026, gave students from different parts of the state an opportunity to directly share their experiences and challenges related to the scholarship scheme. The programme formed part of the nationwide 'Birsa Lives in New Bharat Week'.
