Aizawl, May 13 -- Former Mizoram Tourism Minister and senior Congress leader John Rohlupuia has been granted anticipatory bail by the Special Court (Prevention of Corruption Act) in connection with the alleged irregularities surrounding the stalled Skywalk and Ropeway projects in Aizawl.
The order was passed by Special Judge F. Rohlupuia on Monday in connection with ACB Case No. 3/2023, which was registered by the state Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) while probing alleged financial misappropriation and procedural violations in the execution of the two tourism projects undertaken by the state Tourism Department.
