Mumbai, Feb. 23 -- Ajit Pawar-led NCP MLA Amol Mitkari and senior Sharad Pawar-led NCP MLA Jitendra Awhad on Monday raised questions over the January 28 air crash that claimed the life of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.
"Was VSR Ventures pilot Sumit Kapoor, who flew Ajit Pawar, a suicide bomber? Was Ajit Pawar killed in the same manner the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) killed former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi? If Sumit Kapoor's wife claims that her husband is alive, then who actually died in the air crash?" Mitkari said at a Shiv Jayanti event organised by the Muralidhar Raut Mitra Mandal at Paras Phata in Balapur taluka of Akola district on Monday.
