Mumbai, Sept. 21 -- Former India and Delhi cricketer Mithun Manhas is set to take over as the new President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), after a panel of nominations for the next term of office-bearers was filed today.
BCCI Vice-President Rajeev Shukla, who led the process at the Board's headquarters here, said the panel had been finalised after consultations among senior members. "The nominations include Mithun Manhas for President, myself for Vice-President, Devajit Saikia for Secretary, Prabhtej Singh Bhatia for Joint Secretary, and Raghuram Bhat as Treasurer," Shukla told reporters.
"A few former council members and trustees from Gujarat are also part of the panel. We have decided to make Mithun the President. ...
