Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Feb. 25 -- The Director Space Applications Centre (SAC) of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Dr. Nilesh Desai, on Wednesday said that India is getting ready for the Mission Chandrayaan-4 launch in 2028.

"Chandrayaan-4 is scheduled for launch in 2028 with an orbiter and lander aimed at collecting lunar soil samples, which is among upcoming ISRO missions," Dr Desai here said during an interaction with the media persons from Jammu and Kashmir who are on a PIB led media tour to the state aimed to foster greater awareness about important national institutions and developmental initiatives.

He further highlighted future missions such as Mission Venus and MOM-II (Mars Orbiter Mission-II).
