New Delhi, Aug. 26 -- Olympic medallist weightlifter Mirabai Chanu is expecting an Olympic-level challenge at the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, with China, North Korea and Thailand likely to field their strongest lifters at the continental event.
The 32-year-old has won almost every major medal available to her, including Olympic silver at the Tokyo Games in 2021, but an Asian Games medal remains missing from her collection. She recently won her third Commonwealth Games gold in Glasgow, but believes the Asian Games will present a far tougher challenge.
"To be honest, the competition in the Commonwealth Games was not tough for me. I did not have to put in a lot of effort at Glasgow. The real test lies ahead.
