Beed, March 15 -- A shocking case of kidnapping and sexual assault involving a minor married girl has been reported from a village in Beed district, leaving residents deeply disturbed and angry.
The 17-year-old victim was allegedly abducted from her home during the night, assaulted, and later tied to a pillar in the village square before being abandoned there, an official said on Sunday.
According to available information, the victim was sleeping at home with her husband when the accused allegedly kidnapped her during the night. The man reportedly took her outside the village to the bank of a river, where he sexually assaulted her.
