New Delhi, May 27 -- A 17-year-old boy was critically injured after allegedly being shot at an eatery in South Delhi's Amar Colony area today evening.

According to police, a PCR call regarding the firing was received at around 7:54 PM. Local police, along with senior officers, rushed to the spot, while the victim had already been shifted to Moolchand Hospital in an unconscious condition and on ventilator support.

Initial investigation revealed that the victim was having food with his friends when a group of boys passed by. One of them allegedly touched the victim's chair, leading to an argument. The group reportedly returned after 4-5 minutes, and one of the accused allegedly fired a single round before fleeing.
