New Delhi, Sept. 18 -- Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav has called for expediting the deployment of electric buses and installation of EV charging stations across municipal corporations in Uttar Pradesh's National Capital Region (NCR) areas, as part of measures to curb air pollution ahead of the winter season.
Reviewing the state's air pollution control measures with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and senior officials in Lucknow on Friday, Yadav said the gaps in the existing electric bus fleet needed to be addressed on priority.
