Patna, Jan. 21 -- Amid speculation over Jan Suraaj leader RCP Singh joining JD(U), Bihar Rural Development Minister Shrawan Kumar ridiculed him, saying once he used to claim that political career of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar would be finished after 2025 Bihar assembly elections and now he was willing to join the ruling party.
The Minister, a senior JD(U) leader, told media that Jan Suraaj leader Prashant Kishor had also predicted that JD(U) would not win more than 25 seats in recently held Bihar elections. "However, under the able leadership of Nitish Kumar, the party won 85 seats," he added.
