Hyderabad, Nov. 5 -- Telangana Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao has ordered an inquiry into the incident of cotton bags getting wet due to heavy rain at the Warangal Agricultural Market on November 4.

Following the Minister's directions, Regional Joint Director Srinivas conducted an inquiry under the supervision of Agricultural Marketing Director Lakshmi Bhai.

The inquiry revealed that out of a total of 7,329 cotton bags, only 59 were affected by rain. The wet cotton was immediately dried with the help of market staff and purchased on the same day.
