Tirumala (Andhra Pradesh), July 11 -- Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Friday strongly criticised the continued employment of over a thousand non-Hindus at the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), calling it an affront to Sanatana Dharma.

Speaking to the media after offering prayers at the Tirumala temple on his birthday, Bandi Sanjay questioned the rationale behind hiring individuals who do not subscribe to Hindu beliefs in one of the most sacred Hindu institutions.
