Pune, June 17 -- Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil on Wednesday said knowledge must be accessible to all classes irrespective of caste or religion.
Inaugurating the Sant Singh Mokha Institute of Management Studies established by the Vijay Foundation Trust, he stressed that the core purpose of education was development of society and the nation. However, he expressed concern that some institutions were straying from this purpose.
