Jalpaiguri, June 9 -- Taking a dig at the Trinamool Congress over the alleged signature forgery controversy, West Bengal Minister for Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Agnimitra Paul, on Tuesday targeted TMC National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee and said it was perhaps the first case of 'signature theft' in Indian politics.
The controversy is linked to a proposal concerning the post of Leader of the Opposition in the state Assembly.
