Kochi, June 27 -- In a major step towards making fresh milk and dairy products more accessible to consumers, the Kerala Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (Milma) has launched automatic milk vending machines at Kochi Metro stations and selected 'Chill Mill' franchise outlets across the city.
The project, implemented by Milma's Ernakulam Regional Cooperative Milk Producers' union (ERCMPU), was inaugurated by Kerala Minister for Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development, Ms J. Chinchu Rani.
