New Delhi, March 6 -- Terming the ongoing conflict in the Middle East as "quite unusual", Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday warned that rapid geopolitical shifts are reshaping the global order and creating deep uncertainties that could disrupt energy security, supply chains, and global trade.

"Old ideas, old global order, and old perceptions are changing rapidly. These are the uncertainties we need to understand," Singh said, noting that the unfolding situation in the region reflects the growing unpredictability in international affairs.
