Bengaluru, July 11 -- In a major milestone for India's semiconductor ambitions, Micron Technology's main facility in Gujarat is set to begin its certification process this month and is expected to go operational by the end of 2025, according to senior IAS officer Mona Khandhar. The announcement comes on the heels of the first successful chip shift from Micron's mini facility, signifying that India's semiconductor journey has formally begun.
