New Delhi, Aug. 11 -- India's microfinance sector continued to show signs of stabilisation in the quarter ended June 2026, with portfolio quality improving, average loan sizes rising, and borrowers showing greater consolidation, according to the latest MicroLend Quarterly report by CRIF High Mark.
The microfinance industry's Gross Loan Portfolio (GLP) stood at Rs 333,000 crore as of June 2026, registering a marginal 0.6 per cent quarter-on-quarter increase. The portfolio comprised 10.3 crore active loans serving 6.6 crore borrowers, the report said.
