New Delhi, June 16 -- Micro drama is emerging as a legitimate and evolving storytelling format rather than the "fast fashion" of cinema, industry experts said during a panel discussion at the 19th edition of the Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF), highlighting how changing audience habits and mobile-first content consumption are reshaping the cinematic landscape.

The discussion, titled "Fast Film: Is Micro Drama the Fast Fashion of Cinema?", brought together filmmaker-producer Sameer Mody, actor Archana Kavi, actor Ujjawal Kumar and filmmaker Rafael Stemplewski. The session was moderated by actor Sheena Chauhan.
