Mumbai, July 22 -- Fresh action has been initiated against a redevelopment project in Mumbai's Mandvi Division after allegations of fraud and forgery led to the registration of a criminal case.
The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has cancelled the No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued for the Madiyar Mansion building, while the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has served a Stop Work Notice through its Building Proposal Department, directing that all construction activities at the site be halted.
