Agartala, Nov. 2 -- Swapna Bhowmik, a Woman Inspector of Tripura Police, has been honoured with the Kendriya Grihamantri Dakshata Padak for 2025 in recognition of her outstanding investigation work.
The award recognises her exceptional investigative skills, prompt actions, and unwavering commitment to delivering justice for victims.
Inspector Bhowmik is stationed at Belonia Women's Police Station and played a pivotal role in an investigation into a case registered on September 15, 2024, under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
